The work involves a wide variety of advanced level scientific and technical tasks.  The candidate must be comfortable with both working alone and on his or her own initiative, and within a team.

Accountabilities:
Assist in the development of new or improved water treatment products through formulation work and laboratory and field testing as required.
Working with the Development Manager to maintain an unrivalled technical expertise regarding corrosion inhibition and testing in both closed and open loop recirculating water systems.
Conduct compatibility testing of Fernox products with components and materials used in OEM’s products.
To test and report on the performance of Fernox products versus key competitors within the UK market.
To carry out technical projects as directed by the Development Manager
Assist with the training of heating professionals as required

Qualification:
A degree or equivalent in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Energy Studies or science related discipline
Experience of working in a process laboratory environment and an understanding of internal and external customers
Experience of total quality management processes eg Six Sigma and Project management skills (desirable)
