Our client seeking an energetic & enthusiast individual within their Microbiology department.
 REPORTING TO: Managing Director
STAFF RESPONSIBILITIES: Microbiologists, laboratory technicians and assistants
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: Degree or HND in Microbiology, Biology or related discipline
MAIN TASKS:
Deputise as required for the Laboratory Manager; including the supervision of laboratory staff in all aspects of the laboratory service and commercial activities.
Provide technical service to key accounts; including provision of accurate and timely results, confirmation and clarification of  results and provision of technical advice.

Supervise projects and perform method validation as required.
Adhere to documented procedures for all aspects of laboratory work, ensuring that all relevant information concerning samples is recorded, that samples are handled correctly, that worksheets are kept in an orderly manner and that all necessary records and quality data are maintained.
Maintain a safe working environment.
To take responsibility for your health, safety and welfare and that of anyone affected by your acts and omissions at work.
To follow all company and or statutory rules and procedures provided for your safety and security.
To participate fully in any training activities that are provided for your development.
To undertake any other reasonable task or responsibility requested by your line manager or a more Senior Company Manager.
Shift and weekend work may be required.
